Visitors to Shildon Methodist Church’s recent Bricks n Bits Lego exhibition were treated to a spectacular display, thanks to the Brick Alley Lego User Group. The event also provided an opportunity for young people to participate and build their own models in the activity room.

“Thanks to those who supported this event,” said Susan Horner. “We raised over £530 for our funds to enable us to continue to offer our premises for local community use. Thanks to Brick Alley for their wonderful displays and their hard work, and to Asda for their support. We try to vary the events we offer all run voluntarily, so please pop in to our regular coffee mornings every Thursday at 10am and our Tuesday afternoon social group at 1pm. Chat to us and see what we have on offer, You will always be made welcome.”

The next event at the church hall will be their Quiz Evening on Friday 7 July from 7pm.
