Last weekend, a group of students from Ferryhill School completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award, writes KS3 Inclusion Coordinator, Mrs Langdale-Bush.
The expedition weekend included various activities such as walks, map reading, putting up tents, outdoor cooking on stoves, fire lighting (and toasting marshmallows), paddle-boarding and a competitive game of tag-archery.
Students used the school’s core values to guide their behaviours, decisions, and actions.
Congratulations to all students for their incredible efforts!
