Chilton once again played host to a family rave with the Revolution and popular MCs Tazo and Anth Hopper supported by up and coming future stars 13-year-old Harvi, SP80 Jr, age 11, and Jamesy, age 10.
Increasing in popularity the event, supported by Chilton Town Council, attracted over 250 participants, creating a neon haze of light as they jumped on the dance floor.
Family raves have increased in popularity over recent years as they don’t just cater for a single age group; they allow family to come together, including parents and carers, to connect and have fun.
The events are risk assessed with noise level and content monitored to be age group appropriate. All adults must be accompanied by a child (and vice versa) and everyone is encouraged to have their face painted and get onto the dance floor.
Cllr Pearl Malpas, Chair of the Community and Events Committee said: “As part of our community commitment we are always looking to provide events for families that can be enjoyed by both young people and adults.
“It’s great to see the dance floor packed with ravers from all generations.”
Look out for more family events in 2025.
