National Highways are carrying out a road closures of the A167 at Junction 59 between 7pm on Friday 24 January and 6am on Monday 27 January, and between 7pm on Friday 31 January and 6am hours on Monday 3 February.
The closures will affect Arriva bus services 7 and 8 with a shuttle bus operating on part of the route.
From 7pm on Friday 24 January until 6am on Monday 27 January services 5, 7 and 8 towards Darlington will be unable to serve the section of route between Aycliffe North Briton (services 7 and 8) to Darlington Town Centre.
A shuttle bus will run between Harrowgate Hill and Darlington Town Centre. Customers requiring stops in Darlington from services 7 and 8 should catch the bus to Darlington Tubwell Row and use the shuttle service from there.
From 7pm on Friday 31 January until 6am on Monday 3 February services 7 and 8 towards Newton Aycliffe will be unable to serve the section of route between Darlington Town Centre and Aycliffe North Briton.
A shuttle bus will run between Darlington and Harrowgate Hill. Customers requiring stops north of Harrowgate Hill after Darlington Town Centre from services 7 and 8 should catch the shuttle bus to Darlington Tubwell Row and catch their service from there.
