Bright Futures Ferryhill CIC has launched a brand new wraparound afterschool care club from their new hub at Ferryhill Sport and Education Centre.
The hub is a now permanent base for an extensive children’s activity programmes and will host clubs such as pamper parties, cookery, crafts and more.
Alongside this, every Monday to Friday, from 3.15pm until 5.15pm will see an after school club with pick up from Broom Cottages Primary school which will include activities, snacks and a cooked meal.
Bright Futures is also hosting home education sessions from the hub, whilst still continuing the weekly youth club and community pantry.
Hannah Wilkinson, founder, said: “We are so excited to open our brand new children’s hub. It will mean we can deliver more for the local community.
“We urge people to continue to support our organisation, whether that be grabbing your discounted shopping from the pantry, attending an activity or event or even donating any unwanted or surplus food.”
