A Bishop Auckland man has recently pleaded not guilty to a series of alleged offences.
Adam James Ridley, aged 22 of Edgar Grove, Bishop Auckland, denied the three charges presented at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court.
Ridley was accused of driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour within the hearing and sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress. The offences were alleged to have taken place on November 21st last year in Newgate Street.
The defendant’s unconditional bail was extended up until the date of the next trial, scheduled for June 11th at Darlington Magistrates’ Court.
